three dependent drop down lists without refreshing the page

I need to have three drop down lists, but the dependent should get the values from the database without refreshing the page..If knows,someone pls reply soon

If I am understanding you correctly, drop down 2 is dependant on what drop down 1 is. If this is the case, you need to use Javascript (AJAX) in conjunction with a server side language for running all your queries.

Yep, Ajax is the way to go here. The other approach of loading three Javascript arrays when the page loads and playing around with them using javascript also works but is dirtier and does not reflect real time changes of data in the database.

You've already been pointed in the right direction. any Ajax tutorial will show you how it's done. All it takes is a little bit of reading*. If you get stuck with some code then you can post in the Javascript/Ajax forum

*reading - an extinct art which students used to obtain information.
