42
Hey, i stumbled upon a problem with String replace. I just an error when I try to run a javascript in IE (v.7). This is the line thats doesnt work:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. String.replace(my_variable,/[\n]/g,'<br />');
the thing i want to replace is \n

any ideas why it doesnt work?

I fixed it, had to write it like this:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. my_variable.replace(/\n/g,'<br />');
