Implementing a saved-state refresh button at the top of each page.

I want to add a refresh button on top of a page used in an application.

This page consists of a tree like structure.
So when the tree is completely expanded and some change is done on a object , on click of the refresh button the tree should not collapse.
The page should refresh only that sigle object on which the change was done

Welcome to TSDN!

Perhaps you could use cookies to store the current state of the tree, so that whenever the page is refreshed, you can always go back to the previous state.

Changed thread title to better describe the problem (did you know that threads whose titles contain three words or less actually get FEWER responses?).
