Doing stuff when the User clicks on a radio button

Hello. I have a slight problem with my php codeing.

When a radio button is clicked, how to you get it do perfrom an action? Like:

You have 4 radio buttons, when you click one, the site performs an actoin.

You use JavaScript events. Everything in JavaScript is a response to an event.

But i cant seem to get it to work, when i apply a script to my page, it says error down the left bottum of IE.

But i cant seem to get it to work, when i apply a script to my page, it says error down the left bottum of IE.
I believe either double clicking the error icon or right-clicking it will allow you to view the error console (note that the error is almost always a line off).
