script to direct to a specific website and validate username and password

I don't know if this is the correct group to post to, but if I am in

I am not a programmer but a web master. I am looking for a java
applette/javascript that would do the following:

could be incorporated into other websites.
direct to a specific website when clicked and validate username and password

Is there such a program and where might I find it?

You should validate username and password on the server-side using a server language (e.g. PHP, ASP, JSP, Coldfusion..)

As for redirecting, you can use a simple link, but if you wish to use a button, the following is an example:[HTML]<input type="button" name="blah" value="Validate" onclick="location.href='newurl.php'">[/HTML]
