Working with basic (alphanumeric) js key combinations

I want to allow visitors to type braille on my web site. This would require users typing different combinations of the s, d, f, j, k and l keys that would correspond to letters of the alphabet (e.g, F and D keys together are the letter B)

I would like to apply this to a text field so they can type answers to a quiz in Braille.

I am only a beginner so this is a bit too complicated for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

William Leith

William, welcome to TSDN!

Do these combinations have to be pressed together or one by one?
