Get upload file size??

109 100+
Hi..

Is there any way to get the upload file size from the client before uploading?

Without using activeXObject is it possible? Or other scripts or language can do it?

Thanks!

If you search for "upload progress", you should find progress bar indicators in PHP, Perl or even using AJAX.

Here is a link. It mixes PHP and Perl, but Perl is what gives the upload information.

You could ask in the Perl forum. How do you want to display the progress? Do you want it on the client-side?
