Parsing Xml in firefox is diFferent than IE

1
Hi

I am facing some problem in parsing data in firefox from a xml file.
The data on the page comes through the Ajax.
There are only 5 items on the page which comes from the XML file.
These are shown properly in the IE but in the firefox only 2 items appears.
Following is the code snipt for parsing the Xml file

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. if(XmlReq.readyState == 4)
  2.         {
  3.
  4.             if(XmlReq.status == 200)
  5.             {
  6.
  7.             var xmlDoc  = XmlReq.responseXML;
  8.                     var nodes = xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName('Value');
  9.
  10.                     document.getElementById('lblTab1').innerHTML =nodes[0].firstChild.nodeValue;
  11.
  12.
  13.                }
  14.         }

in the "xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName('Value')" code i am not getting the full Xml file in Fire fox but in IE i am getting the Full Xml.

Usually this is because of whitespace. These are treated differently in the two browsers. See this link for more information.
