xslt position

P: 2

I'm using xslt and xml to show results in a table using asp.
I want to show the first 20 results and then to navigate to the next 20 and so on.

My code to see the first 20 works successfully:

<xsl:if test="position() < 21">

this is the version of xsl i'm using :

<xsl:transform xmlns:xsl="" version="1.0">

1. how do I show position 21 untill 40 for example. I don't know the syntax.

2. how can I navigate to this results when the user asks it, in javascript.
I dont know how to go to the next results, in javascript. the user click on 'next 20 result' I need to navigate to the next 20 results. I've already load all the results to xml data island and transform it with xsl to a table. it all works great. only the code to navigate the results i dont know.

need you help...

Welcome to TSDN!

I'm not too familiar with XSLT and position, but this would be better done in your server-side language which retrieves only the data that you need. If you were to do this in Javascript, then you could give your data rows ids and display them accordingly by setting their display property to "none" to hide or "block" to display
