Hi,

I need to keep the current date value that is in a text box after the user has cleared the form with the reset button. I tried onclick, onreset but neither works.

How are you clearing the form? If you are using a reset button the entire form will 'reset' you should make another standard button and give it a Javascript onclick event then create a function to individually reset the controls you want.

How is the current date value being placed in the textbox? If you can set the textbox to readonly you might be able to use the form reset button.

I have set it to readonly.
Here is my js script:
function calnewdate(){
var newDate = new Date();
var curDate = (newDate.getMonth()+1) + '/' + newDate.getDate() + '/' + newDate.getFullYear();
document.getElementById('curDate').value = curDate;}

and my input box:
