The following string returns the name of the cell(<td>) in IE but not in Firefox because of which my script is not running -->

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. currentRow.cells[1].name == "numeric"

Please help.

You'll have to give more information than that. How are you defining currentRow?

Do you get any errors? If so, what?

It is defined as follows -->

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. var newRow = document.getElementById(rowId);
  2. var dataTable = newRow.parentNode;
  3. var currentRow = dataTable.rows[i];
It works in IE but not in Firefox.

The cells.name which I gave in the first post is not supported by Firefox.

Please help.
