Hi,

What is the best open source IDE for buiding JS related web application.(JS Editor)
With these features on it.
  • Code completion
  • Syntax highlighting
  • Automatic generation of code snippets

hi ...

i use eclipse and jseclipse-plugin ... it does very well ... but it is not open source at all until jseclipse belongs to adobe now ...

Aptana is mentioned around some places. Never tried it, so don't know how good it is. Maybe you could give it a shot and see if it does what you want.

;) jseclipse is not open source ... but it is to use for free ... i just wanted to mention that ... didn't see any better free js-editor until now ...

i tried aptana sometimes ... but it didn't convince me to use it that time ... but its worth a second look i think ...
