... please be more specific ... what does not work? is javascript generally not to be executed ... or a particular script ...

to test create a html file locally and insert:
<html>
<head>
<title>test javascript</title>
</head>
<body>
<script>
alert('js is working');
</script>
</body>
</html>
load the file to firefox - if you notice an alert box that says that js is working ... it is working ;)

kind regards ...
