JavaScript and Back button problem

P: 1
I am using javscript to dynamically update a page's CSS and innerHTML based on user's input. The problem I am having is that after user clicks on a link to go to the 2nd page and hit browser BACK button, the page reverts back to the original state, loosing all the dynamically generated contents.

Is there anyway, without using client side cookie, to have the page maintain its code (and also javascript variables) when the user click Back button.

any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to TSDN!

Is there any particular reason why you don't want to use client-side cookies?
