parentWindow refreshing from childWindow

58
hi all,I want to reload the parent window from the child Window in mozilla fire fox browser,i tried these following stuffs by calling events in onunload in child Window.

* window.opener.document.forms[0].submit();window.close();

*window.opener.location=window.opener.location;

*window.opener.location="http://localhost:8080/sansar/contactHome.htm";

* window.opener.document.location.reload(true);

*window.location.href="http://localhost:8080/sansar/parent.jsp";

none of the above s working towards reloading parent window except i can close the child Window using self.close();

can any one give me a suggestion in RELOADING PARENT WINDOW FROM CHILD WINDOW IN MOZILLA FIRE FOX,i believe things will work well in IE browser.....

thanks in advance,

sundar

This is a Javascript question isn't it? This was posted in a Java forum which is
totally unrelated to Javascript; I moved this thread to a Javascript forum. Good luck.

kind regards,

Try:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. window.opener.location.reload();
