detecting pop up

i am using this code to detect popup but its not showing "is blocking " even if i enable the popup...whts the problem

Your code works fine. I tried on Firefox 2 with the popup blocker enabled and disabled and it gave the expected results.

thnxz buddy but really i cant able to figure it out that whts the prbl. since i am runiing my code on both firefox and IE but my window.open() function always return null value i am really fed up that whts the prb...cud anybody help me...
