Image size of a button

Hi,

I have added an image to my button. If I increase the size of the button, the image is visible in tile form. How do I stretch the image of the button.

 
               <input id="zoomOutButton"  style="background-image:url(images/ZoomOut.bmp); background-position: center; width: 25px; background-color: transparent;" type="button" onclick="DoZoomOut();" title="Zoom Out"/>

Can anyone please help me figure out, what do I need to change to achive my requirements.
Any help is really appreciated.

You would have better luck using a button element here, rather than an input type=button. Then you can add the image as an image, and control its display with style properties, rather than a background.

What type of buuton are you referring - asp button or what?
On click I got to call js function, so asp button wont work out. Are you aware of how to call js function from onclick event of asp:button. As I believe, it calls the vb file function associated with the aspx file.

An HTML <BUTTON> element.

Defines a push button. Inside a button element you can put content, like text or images. This is the difference between this element and buttons created with the input element.
