Close iframe with Javascript on Flash based map?

I have an interactive flash map application that use javascript Flash gateway and asp to identify sales reps worldwide. Upon zooming into a particular country, an iframe panel slides out and displays the associated rep information. The client would like to include a link on the iframe that returns the user to the worldwide map and basically resets the zoom and removes the sale rep information panel until the next zoom in occurs. I can not figure out how to close the iframe and reset the map. I've placed a link as a placeholder to show the concept. There is a reset and a zoom out button below the map but that will be removed once this piece is figured out. The current map can be viewed here: http://alatitle.com/world%20Folder/s...avascript.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Close the iframe by using removeChild from the main page or just hiding using style.display="none". To access the parent from the iframe, use parent or top.
