ERROR: Please enable JavaScript.

Hi,

This is the error I get when I try to download a file from Rapidshare.

ERROR: Please enable JavaScript.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Sun JDK 6.0. Sill the problem persists.
The problem is generic now. For instance I cannot use the collapse /
expnad links at the top of this post. I have also enabled all
scritping options in my browser (IE 7.0).

Can anyone hepl me in this regard?

Thanks,
Anand.

JavaScript is not Java. These are two different languages. Rapidshare
service requires JavaScript to be enabled in your browser. What
browser do you use? - so the instruction could be given. As another
option do not use Rapidshare service and try to find one without
JavaScript support requirements.

JavaScript has about as much in common with Java as a Carpet does with a
Car, so fiddling with the JDK won't effect this issue.

The which what? Not everyone uses Google Groups to access Usenet.
I have also enabled all scritping options in my browser (IE 7.0).
It is called active scripting and tucked away in the security settings in
that browser.
