z-index issue in IE6 that causes the menu to be placed BEHIND <select> input items.

Hello,

I use a simple list-based drop-down menu :

The problem is that there is a z-index issue in IE6 that causes the menu to be placed BEHIND <select> input items.

I understand that this can be fixed using IFRAMEs but I don't know how to do this myself and I ONLY want the iFrame fix to be applied to users of IE5.5 or IE6.

How can this be done?

Thanks!

Welcome to TSDN (thescripts).

See this page or this or google for "iframe shim".

For ie5.5 and 6 only, you can use conditional comments.
