Japanese OS does not understand "&"

Here we are facing a problem which is when we pass a parameter to
javascript putting '&' . Ex: &contact.
In Japanese OS when we receive this parameter in the script '&' is
converted to 'e'.So script is not recognizing the same.
In english OS this working fine.

Do anyone have any idea.........................

I don't really understand what your problem is since you weren't
precise in what context you use the ampersand, but whatever you do,
try using "&amp;" instead. Eg. the right syntax in HTML when giving
addresses with url parameters isn't "address?a=b&c=d" but rather
"address?a=b&amp;c=d". Maybe the japanese use the ampersand
extensively so you get problems...
