Finding the page length in a browser

Relatively new to Java and have a question.

I need to be able to take screenshots of an entire web page. The issue that I'm having is finding the page length of a page displayed within the browser so that I can determine if I need to page down to take the next screen shot. Does anyone know now how to find the actual length of the page displayed in the browser?

From there it's just a matter of dividing the page length by the canvas area of the browser, paging down x number of times and taking a screen shot after each page down.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you insert a go-between that reads the HTML before it gets to the browser, you'll find the length there (although it must also be stored somewhere, necause clicking properties in the menu gives a size too, so there may be a better way.....)

Since I don't see where Java comes into this, I'll move this to the Javascript forum
