Getting focus of control in Javascript

I'm using Javascript in my jsp. How do I get the name of the current control which has focus.

Welcome to The Scripts.

No, I'm afraid this isn't possible. What you can do is use the onFocus event handler, but obviously that is not quite what you want. See this thread.

What functionality are you trying to achieve? It's possible that you could do it another way.
