Javascript - deleting cookies

2
Ive got a problem!!!

Im creating a small website for young kids.

the welcome page (Intro.html) allows the user (kid) to enter his/her name.

once the user has entered his name, there is a javascript function that sets the user's name into the temporary internet file with an expiry date.

if the user closes the application, and another user opens the application it will say "hello and welcome back (NAME) and if you are not (NAME) please select the new user button. Unfortunatly my 'new user' button does not delete the cookie. I know i need a funtion to delete the cookie but i can not make it work.

can somone help me

my email add is ****

Welcome to The Scripts.

Just set the expiry date to some time in the past and the cookie will be deleted. See this page.
