hi all,
i need a help for the solution of one problem,
i whant to display an image in html, but the image is in the html, static, not a
resource, i try with
<img src="data:image/png;base64,... />
works nice, but in IE6 not,
tell my is it possible with javascript & css to generate the image ?
first to generate the pixel map ?, the palette of the colors ?, and second to display it in the html ? (pixel per pixel, with exactly color :)

im not sure, but i think that it's impossible to make it crossbrowsing.
maybe it can works in IE, but you can fogget Opera and firefox browsers
Actually, it is possible to use CSS and HTML to generate an image. View the source code used here
(control U to view source code).
The CSS code is here.
This is NOT my site. However, he does give a good example of this, using both CSS and HTML. He does use a lot of 'td class=' tags.
Hope this helps.
Thank you, but you don't understand what i mean,
i want to insert some data into a html, it will be a image or a file (every mime type) ...
and when you open the html into your browser, i want to have e method to get this data from the html...(something like "downloading" them), only on the client side,
and don't know is it possible :(
If you don't mind, why do you want to insert the data directly into the HTML? What's wrong with using a normal image?
