Most of them. I* can read yours, but thats is rare in this news group.
On the other news groups I have no trouble. I am using news reactor.
I go to read a message and I get an error reading article.
If I try to grab(D/L) an article, I get article not found or some such stuff.
again in any other news group I don't have this problem.
Thanks for the reply.

Set it to not keep unavailable messages.
That way it will check to see if a message is available for the
headers you already have each time it checks for new headers.

Different NNTP servers have different archiving settings. Very roughly
an article older than 1 month is not available for viewing (can be
even shorter sets) - but its name still can be reflected in the
thread.

Also when you are viewing some newsgroup, you are not "viewing Usenet"
- there is not such thing. You are viewing whatever was up-to-date
mirrored and/or archived by NNTP server you are currently connected
to. This way slow or badly configured news servers may feed you with
outdated or uncomplete thread states.

Gougle Groups do not have such limitation but to keep up with the
legacy traditions a thread older than 1 month is not allowed for new
postings - though still fully viewable.

Try to read this group over <http://groups.google.com/group/
comp.lang.javascript>
If your problems disappear then your current NNTP server (== account)
needs to be replaced by a better one.
