Is there any return value for alert box?

I want to redirect to some other page when i click OK button in the alert box.. how can I do that?

an alert halts the script untill the ok button is pressed if i am not mistaken so you can do alert then window.location afterwords and should give you what you were looking for

add return true after the alert u have mentioned in ur code.
