dump of modified DOM ?

Here is a question:

Is there a script I can get or a means where after a javascript
program has altered the html in the DOM it can be printed out to some
text window ? This might help me analyze complex programs to figure out
what they did to the html.

Do you know Mozilla's DOM inspector? It is a live representation of the
DOM with various views on the nodes.
