Track user behaviour, capture mouse pointer position and store in database

1
Dear All,

I wanted to track the user behaviour on my site and wants to store it.

To meet this objective, I am planning to capture the mouse pointer (x,y) and store it in the dianamic array and then on press of a link <a href"">somthing</a>, it will store that in the database.

Is this logic correct and is there any code ready for use. this requirement for this code is for personnal use only.

I have searched on the site and found that there is some one also working in the same direction, the post created is "mouse pointer detection"

Regards,

Use this script to get the mouse position. Then pass posx and posy either via clicking a link or even Ajax.

However, you should mention in your privacy policy exactly what you're storing about visitors to your site and try to make it clear even outside it that some tracking is taking place.
