Multiple selection in listbox without holding control key

Hi all,

As question title I need a javascript which provides the facility to make multiple selection without holding control key. Means I how is it possible to make multiple selection/deselction just clicking over list box items.

Would take a bit of messing around with javascript to override the default behaviour of the select. Are you sure the select is the right object for what you want to do?

Yes, there is an special requirment to overide the list box behaviour. If you can do this through java script please help me out.
actualy this is tricky and needed an strong logic.
