Tutorial

Dear All,

I'm a new javascript user.
I'm looking for some information about the different graphical packages
which can be integrated with javascript.
Can you give me some indication please?
Many thanks.

Best,
Nic

Although there are some graphical packages for javascript such as canvas
( http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs...cs_with_Canvas )
which allows you to do some pretty amazing things like making a browser
version of MS PAINT ( http://c3o.org/code/canvas/paint/ ), you'll find
that only the very latest and most modern browsers (which are not named
Internet explorer) support the canvas tag.

For true graphics you'll want to look into actual java and flash which
are different beasts (and discussion groups) altogether. That's not to
say javascript can't do graphics but it's a bit like trying to get the
fat lady to be a ballerina.

Good luck!
