scrolling carousell image scripts?

hi there

anyone know of a script that achieves the same effect as this flash
one?
http://www.square-enix.com/eu/en/index_f2.html

where the images scroll across the screen and can be scanned forwards
and backwards by the user?

all help appreciated.

I've actually coded two types of grab and drag image scrollers. The
first is an infinite flickr carousel at
http://www.hunlock.com/index-bak.php?start=launch and the other is a
"drag back and forth and stop at the ends" you-tube feed slider at
http://www.hunlock.com/launch.php . The code to do this is non-trivial
although the youtube slider can be executed with fairly minimalist code.

Both scrollers require knockdown-drag-out fights with CSS, HTML, and
javascript. You're welcome to take a look at the first-draft code on
both of these pages to get started with your own project. When I was
researching this on the net I think I actually found only one complete
example similar to this -- which I did not end up using -- so it's kind
of a sink or swim on your own project.

If you can possibly get by without grab and drag scrolling, you will be
far, far, far better off defining an iframe on your page and creating a
html page as horizontally wide as you need, and let the iframe give you
a nice little scroll bar the user can use.

Good Luck.

everything is mixed here on my FF2
(text over menu) (bull-infos outside window)

and the other is a
"drag back and forth and stop at the ends" you-tube feed slider at
http://www.hunlock.com/launch.php
here it's better : bull-infos stay in window.
