FAQ Topic - Which newsgroup deals with javascript?

The official Usenet newsgroup dealing with javascript is
comp.lang.javascript. There are other newsgroups but many of
them are not carried by most news feeds. clj is an unmoderated

For consistence, "news:" should be used before either all or none of the
newsgroups named in full.

That quoted wording is a re-ordering of that in my stored 8.1, which
perhaps proves something. To avoid starting the second sentence without
a capital letter, replace "clj" with "It is" or "It's". ISTM better,
where easy, to avoid ending a sentence with a newsgroup name, because
that makes the reader reinterpret the final dot as a full stop.

The official Big-8 Usenet newsgroup dealing with javascript is
comp.lang.javascript (unmoderated).

There are javascript newsgroups in (at least) the de, fr, it, no
hierarchies, and microsoft.* includes a jscript group.
