IFrame Conent Access gives ":Access Denied"

P: 1
Hi,

I'm trying to access the IFrame contents on a HTML page as

frames['frame_name'].document

But in IE, I'm getting Access Denied Error Message.

I tried to add the IFrame's Src WebSite (a local/intranet hosted dynamic HTML page) to Trusted Sites list in IE Options.

Still i get this "Access Denied" error.

Is there any way i can access the iFrame's content thru JavaScript ?

I do understand that Microsoft might have disabled this kind of access, but this there any other way to access an IFrame's Content ?

This error will occur if the iframe src website is from another domain. One way around this is to load the page in a reduced security environment in IE, e.g. file://, or load the site from your domain using server-side code.
