How to get the name of dynamically generated elements....?

I want to process the XML File and display it in the browser(IE).
I have the written code which accepts the XML file as input,parses it and displays it in IE with proper indentation.

To achieve this task,I have used ActivexObject(Microsoft.XMLDOM).
I am traversing the DOM tree and processing the tag elements.
For displaying the tag (XML tag) in browser,I simply used document.write() method.

e.g; document.write("&lt"+node.nodeName+"&gt")

While processing the elements,if any element have "max " attribute then textbox and button will be displayed next to that tag.
The buttons and textboxes are generated dynamically.
Name of text box and button is derived from tag name.

e.g; If the note tag has attribute max,
<note max="unbound">
then textbox and button will be displayed next to this tag.

Name of text box will be "note_text" and name of button will be "note_button".

In this way every element will be processed.
Now if user gives input and clicks on button then that element should be displayed given number of times.

I am facing problem in accessing the name of text box and its value.
So please help me regarding the same.
