Image uploading through AJAX

P: n/a
Hi
I would like to have the sample code for file upload via AJAX. I
searched on the net and came to know that it is not possible directly.
But we can do it through hidden IFrame.
Thanks in advance

The Yahoo! UI connection library might give you some hints how to do
this.

I have written a framework that uses an object instance of
"EXMLHttpRequest" - it means emulated XMLHttpRequest and uses iframes
as fallback solution, if your native Hidden Request is disabled. It can
be used to do comfortable "hidden" Uploads via Iframes, you're right
this is not possible by using native hidden Requests. EXMLHttpRequest's
syntax is exactly the same as XMLHttpRequest's, so using is pretty
simple ,)

Hi Peter
Thanks for your reply. I downloaded the Yahoo UI connection library and
and tested my pages. The problem is if the form containing <input
type="file" ... then the form is getting submitted by changing the
enctype. I am not getting any response from the server. I would like to
know how can i get the response from server.
