javascript not running

Hi

I am modifying some javascript that I have seen on a site for my homepage. It seems to run ok on another site, however I get the error message:

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer ...."

I can overcome this by changing my IE settings, however similiar javascript runs successfully on the other site without any interception.

Any ideas?

Thanks
