javascript table row sort?

anyone know a way to sort rows of a table (<tr>) by a certain colum (<td>) in javascript? thanks.

sorting a row by what?

columns are up and down and rows are left and right, normally you sort the column.

This is what I use, it seems to be a very fast sorting algorithm
