I'm sure I have done this a few years ago, but I can't lay my hands on

I want to (re)set the Back button on a particular page, so that when it
is clicked, it transfers the user -- not to the previous page, but -- to
one particular page. I seem to recall that this is easy to program, but
I can't remember how to do it.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
Are you maybe refering to the history array?
(window.history, frame.history)
and its methods back() forward() and go()?
You can not write values in this array, only go back and forth.
You cannot read the values stored in there either.
So it is of limmited use.
As far as I know you cannot do anything else with the back-button.
You can only press it programmically by using history.back() or
history.go(-1);
So if you can lay your hand on your old code, let us know. :-)
I expect it did something else than you described.
