attatchments for forms

Does anyone know if there is a method I could use using javascript to
allow users to attatch a photograph to the form they are filling in?

Not possible to display whatever comming from visitor's computer.
Absolutely forbidden ! (security)

but it could be possible to send a photo attached to the form

Choice your photo to send :
<input type=file>

your form should look like this:
<form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="blah" method="post">
<!-- Stuff.... -->
<input type="file" />
</form>
make sure you have the enctype!

Im not sure if you understood my question. i hve just learnt how to
create files using javascript. In the website I have created I would
like attatch photographs to the form i have provided. What script would
i need to enable this to happen?

I am not sure i understand what you mean re security angle.
