order elements of a html select list

Hi All,

I need some help with showing option elements of a multiple select list
in a particular order. Is it possible to order the elements according
to the value of the option or the text of the option?

Any pointers will also help.

thanks,
Vivek.

Why not just code it in the order you want?

But, what order you want them in, and what that order is based on (value
or text) will dictate how to sort them.
