set position of textarea scrollbar to the bottom

hi i m trying from a long time to set positioning the scroller in text area in bottom so that after refreshing the page i can see the bottom content of text area plz help

You need to set scrollTop to set the scrollbar position.

The element's scrollHeight property is the amount of scrollable content (+ padding sometimes). If you subtract the clientHeight that should give you the scrollTop position to set, but there is inconsistency across browsers in this area.
