Auto fill in form element

Hi,

I was wondering if someone can point me to a site with form elements where
I might find something that would autofill in a text box or a drop dropdown
menu. My issue is lists of names, sometimes almost 2,000. We are looking
for a shortcut to a traditional dropdown which only allows us to enter the
first letter and then we have to scroll. I need to quicken the process by
allowing the data entry person to start entering letters until they get the
name they wanted.

Autocomplete select box ("dropdown menu")
Note that 2000+ entries in a select box is pretty awkward and may lead to
performance issues and/or browser crashes. Here are some pointers:
