you can find code to do this in FCK's dialog's (e.g. in
dialog/fck_specialchar.html)

basically -

var oEditor = window.parent.InnerDialogLoaded() ;
....
oEditor.FCK.InsertHtml('foobar');

foobar can be some html containing your image

no I wont do it, I won't touch FCK with a 100 foot pole (it sucks,
tinyMCE rules)
