Absolute height of adocument.

Hi,

I have a blog hosting website where users can include/create their own
templates.

I need to add a footer at the bottom of a page.
The problem is, if users use css "position:absolute;" then I cannot tell
where the bottom of the page will be.

Is there a JavaScript way of getting the bottom of a page so I can absolute
position the bottom footer?

Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon

Some very useful info at
http://www.quirksmode.org/viewport/compatibility.html

Apparently the height of the document is in document.body.offsetHeight
or document.body.scrollHeight depending on the browser, quirksmode
shows how to check which property to use.

Have a good un
