ok, where to from here?

I've learned 'core' javascript and can do almost anything I need to do
with javaScript enhanced web pages. But I don't know where to go from
here... if, then, while... I need to know where else I can take
advanced javascript -- does anyone know of any advanced educational
resources that I can take advantage of using Javascript?

AJAX (Asynchronous
Javascript
And
Xml)
Looks interesting.

Also - you may want to mix JS with CSS to make those 'fly-out' menus and the
like.
But if you have that down pat already - move on to the server side - and
JSP.

But JSP has *nothing* to do with JavaScript...
(Java Server Pages)

true, JSP has nothing to do with JavaScript. But a failed effot on my
part to learn JSP triggered my efforts to learn JavaScript first. The
place where I worked used JavaScript to manipulate forms and other
aspects of DOM to allow Java programmers to focus on pure code. Nobody
understood things like Struts... I was one of the designers and I'd
never heard of Struts and thought JSP was another language akin to php.
Understanding JavaScript will help me to relearn JSP(Java) because it
got my feet wet into programming for the web.
