How to improve the performance when insert many rows into a table

If you provide an example of how you are doing it now, perhaps you will
get advice as to how to optimise it. Maybe what you have done is as
good as it gets.

Note what is optimal for speed in one browser may not be in another and
that there are at least 5 major platforms to consider - even if all
Gecko-based browsers are treated as a single platform.
