submit element

P: n/a
Hello,

I have a form that does a submit with a <select>. I also have a
submit-button. If I press the submitbutton the data from the form must
be saved in a database. This is the part that isn't hard. But if the
form is submitted by the select-element, then the form must be changed.

My question is: Can I use javascript to see which element did submit the
form?

Thnx already,

Bert

If it is server-side, yes.

Name the submit button. If the name is not part of the request, the submit
button was not used.
