Scripting Media Types

Hello,

I have created a test case for the newly registered scripting
media types text/javascript (obsolete), text/ecmascript (obsolete),
application/javascript and application/ecmascript at

<http://PointedEars.de/scripts/test/mime-types/>

and would appreciate your input.

After <Lasse Reichstein Nielsen> posts I promised myself to be a good
boy as long as I can. But right after that I gonna bite off your overly
stantartizated ears.

Interesting, I would have expected the same UA version on almost the
same platform work the same. Maybe there is a pref I don't know of.

Opera 8.01 : "Could not locate remote server"

Now I know why.

$ HEAD pointedears.de
500 Can't connect to pointedears.de:80 (Bad hostname 'pointedears.de')
[...]

$ HEAD www.pointedears.de
200 OK
[...]
Try

http://www.pointedears.de/scripts/test/mime-types/

and if that still fails (although I cannot imagine why), try

http://www.stud.tu-ilmenau.de/~thla-...st/mime-types/

Seems my new provider has still not yet set up the server for the domain
without `www' as I asked :-( Some user agents try `www' subdomain if the
second-level domain fails which is why the latter works in some and fails
in others.
