Tiddlers functionality

Mine is a Rubyonrails (RoR) project in which i want to provide
functionality of tiddlers, (as in http://www.tiddlywiki.com/ ). i tried
to use same pattern as they are using , but that is entirely different,
as they use different html/text format (they use UTF, while we normaly
use ISO.)

I want to implement open, close, scrolling, updation of display area on
closing/opening one tiddler - features as them, but only able to get
scrolling thing working. I want to know if there is javascript
available/used for these (or similar) effects which can be used in
normal format. Plz help.

thanx

You mean character set/encoding?
(they use UTF, while we normaly

Why can you not set/change/convert the format of either yours or their
output?

Any ISO-8859 format is rather limited. I would not even be able to
output a dutch ij character. And that's even in a west-european language.

Actually mine piont is to achieve those functionality in a Ror
application , while getting content from database, & they dont interact
with database, only show content in that html page.
I want to get javascript for those / similar effects.
thanks .
